Sadly, John passed away unexpectedly on the 2nd July, following a short illness at the Royal Derby Hospital with his wife Shirley by his side.
His funeral will be held at St Andrew's Church, Kegworth at 11am on Wednesday 12th August which would have been his 90th birthday and St Andrew's the Church where he and Shirley were married 69 years ago.
I am requesting no flowers please but should you wish to make a donation in lieu for St Andrew's Church, Kegworth in John's memory there will be a collection plate inside the Church.
